This is a particularly bad example of negligent dental treatment. To make things worse, it wasn’t just 1 dentist, but several dentists! Some worked for the NHS, and some worked for a well-known high street chain.
The brief facts are that a young lady (who was only 11 years old at the time) had an accident at school in Dorset. She knocked out 2 of her front teeth and loosened 2 more.
The race was on to save her teeth. But rather than improve the chances of her saving them, the combined treatment did more harm than good. To add insult to injury, once the compensation claim was made, they tried to blame each other!
